[ seeing dal's name in his notifications makes him smile and he grabs his phone almost immediately to text back ]

[ okay but texting in korean feels so comfortable. he's been talking and texting with mostly his classmates. all in english. it's not been super easy. texting with dal feels like going home without actually having to go home. and not just because he texts in korean ]

(( He's lived in the US for the better part of a decade and English is still difficult for him. Especially reading and writing it. He's so thankful Jun's more comfortable in Korean, too. ))

[ jun paid for all of the best tutors before leaving korea. he's paying for all of the best tutors here in the united states. he still feels more comfortable with korean. it's his native language. he'll always feel more comfortable with it.

how dal managed on his own is beyond jun ]
