Vena isn't much of a gift giver either (that isn't to say that he doesn't ever give anyone anything, but the list of recipients on Vena's gift list are incredibly few), nor is he terribly big on favours. Though it's been something that he's been working on with a select few people (a very select few) in mind, it's not really to his taste to do for others, even in the case of a favour where he'd get something in return. As favours are in Iseul's nature, simply taking is in Vena's. While there are some demons who deal in unbalanced, unfair deals, Vena is not one of them.

That's not to say that he hasn't exchanged favours with Iseul in the past, but he'd prefer not to. He'd prefer to owe nothing to anyone, but especially not one of the Fae.

Vena turns his wrist this way and that, watching the various ways the cuff catches the light. "I agree. You merely loaning this to me when I'd attend one of your parties always seemed like such a waste."
