Being the apex predator that he is, Hai can hear the quick beating of the small rabbit's heart over the din of the party behind him. He can smell the small creature, can guess which bush it ducked in behind by the faint rustling of the leaves. Given his status as a predator, he doesn't expect the small prey animal to come any closer, but he holds out his hand and calls to it anyway, making soft noises to try to lure the rabbit out.

Hai climbs to his feet and tips his head curiously to one side when it's not a rabbit that emerges from the bushes but a young man. He should've noticed that something smelled a little off about the small animal. "Well aren't you an odd looking rabbit."
