Vena lifts his chin and narrows his eyes to challenge the threat. He has no counterpoint, though. He can't exactly disagree with what Su-jin's saying. For all intents and purposes, he and Su-jin are friends. They are a lot of other things as well, but also friends. "If that's what you wish to call us," he concedes with a huff, trying to mask his defeat by taking a sip of his drink.

"Speaking of us," he starts, not full on changing the subject from Su-jin's small victory, but rather side-stepping it. "I'd like you to stay behind after everyone else leaves. And I suppose your pet can stay as well. I'll not have anyone accusing you of irresponsible pet ownership."
