Leaving is the last thing that Seong wants to do. It's an option (little does he know but it's not an option. Not according to Matthias) but not one he wants to explore. He doesn't want to leave now when he finally gets to be pressed in close to Matthias. After hours of waiting (working) he finally gets to be where he belongs. He doesn't even want to leave tomorrow but he supposes he'll have to go home eventually. He'll have to give his boyfriend his apartment and privacy back. For now though, Seong is already fully wrapped himself up in Matthias so why not his sheets and his clothes and his affection? He's only too happy to stay here and get wrapped up in the warmth and heat of his Matthias.
Oh but that quick kiss is a little too quick. A small pout is accompanied by a quiet, disappointed huff. He looks over at Matthias or more specifically he looks at Matthias' lips while running his tongue over his own. He wants to go in for another kiss but it's a trap and he can't keep falling for it. Trading quick kisses while prolonging their supper. Letting their food get cold. Delaying them getting to continue past this point in their evening together.
"We can't figure it out until you stop distracting me and let me eat," he mutters, shoving a forkful of food into his mouth as though to make his point.
Matthias knows exactly what he's doing. He tastes the want in every little kiss, feels it in the way Seong's eyes linger, sees it in his equal parts adorable and sultry pout. If only Seong realized the things his mouth brings to Matthias' mind so often. Well, he probably could. Matthias isn't subtle once he's decided on someone.
If Seong really thought about it, surely he would realize the sorts of things his mouth calls to Matthias' mind. He's definitely not exactly subtle, though too often Seong thinks that maybe the lack of subtlety he's seeing in Matthias is just him seeing what he wants to see which results in things like Seong being surprised that Matthias actually wanted him to stay the night.
A mistake he'll try to correct.
With zero hesitation, Seong nods his head. Very enthusiastically, Seong nods his head. He quickly chews and swallows his mouthful of food then gathers up some more, ready for his next bite. "You're very distracting." He watches Matthias out of the corner of his eye as he pulls the pasta off of the fork and grabs more. He's determined, now, to get this food down in a timely manner before Matthias starts to pull too much of his attention away again.
"You distract me even when we're not together," he mumbles around the food in his mouth. He has the scant few sentences he managed to write as proof of just how distracting Matthias can be. Does Matthias even know just how much space he takes up in Seong's mind, and just how many of his thoughts he occupies? Seong certainly hopes not. Those are the sorts of things that he's been trying to keep to himself.
"Do I?" He croons, all innocent curiosity. He lets his eyes linger on Seong's mouth as he shoves bite after bite into it, then drags his eyes up to meat the young man's. More slowly than Seong, Matthias swirls some pasta around his fork and pull the bite to his mouth.
Seong nods his confirmation, chewing his food slowly as he watches the way Matthias' eyes move. From his mouth to his eyes. It's almost enough to make Seong self-conscious. Almost. Were it anyone else looking at him like that, it would. It would make him wonder what's wrong with him, what they're seeing that he isn't aware of. But with Matthias, that feeling disappears before it ever really has the chance to become something substantial. When Matthias' eyes linger around his face, Seong feels desirable. And like he's the only other person in the world.
It's such an addicting feeling.
One last bite of food, then he leans forward to set his plate down on the coffee table, washing it down with the remainder of the wine in his glass. Settling back in next to the other man, he wipes some of the oil from his lips with his hand and then starts to toy with the hem of his shirt.
That's a practiced skill Matthias has honed over the years. He has the sort of gaze that makes people feel like he could see only them among thousands. And, to some degree, that's real. Once someone's become his fixation, no one else matters. But with Seong he doesn't have to consciously make that effort. When those inky eyes fall on him, Seong's all he sees. All he wants to see. This building could crumble around them right now and his attention would still be intently fixed on Seong. Nothing else.
It's with so much absentness that Matthias feeds himself. It's all automatic, the way he way he twirls the pasta onto his fork and stuffs bite after bite into his mouth while he waits for a more satisfying answer to his question than Seong provides.
Seong shifts a little to lay his head on Matthias' shoulder, trying to remove himself from the more direct line of sight. It doesn't help, though. It doesn't stop the intensity of Matthias' eyes on him. It doesn't stop the way that heavy gaze makes the rest of the world drop away, leaving just the two of them in it. That addicting, intoxicating gaze. Seong turns his own attention to Matthias' plate, watching the way his boyfriend twirls the fork to gather up some of the pasta. He watches his hand, the way the muscles and tendons move together just under his skin. Flexing and contracting in a way that makes Seong's heart beat just a little faster. A reminder of how those hands feel and what's they're capable of. A reminder of the things they can do to him.
"You're the only one who says it right," he muses to himself before sliding down to claim a small piece of Matthias' thigh for his head. Just enough to lay with his head in Matthias' lap, not enough to get in the way of his eating. "I think a lot about your voice. Like, the sweet way you usually sound when you talk to me and especially when you say my name. The mischievous tone you have when you're about to suggest we do something that most people would say we shouldn't. The aggressive, sometimes growly way you sound when you're really horny. I hear your moans while I'm asleep."
That's enough. He should stop.
"Tonight, I got basically no work done because I couldn't stop thinking about coming up here to see you. I only managed five sentences I mostly didn't hate for my article. Managed to write a pretty big paragraph about how good it feels when you fuck me so hard that I forget where I am. Some of the best writing I've done in recent memory. I also couldn't stop imagining what we'd do tonight when I came up to see you. Would we just have supper and then I'd go home? Would you come home with me? Would I stay here for a few hours and we'd talk? Maybe we'd have sex and you'd send me home afterwards. Or spend the entire night fucking until one or both of us passes out. Watch a movie and cuddle on the couch? How would you look tonight? How would you be dressed and how would your hair be styled? What would you smell like? What would you taste like?"
He should've made an itemized list in his head. He should've gone into this more prepared. He shouldn't have allowed himself to just talk. One too many glasses of wine, perhaps. So is this when Matthias realizes that Seong is a mistake and kicks him out? Is this when Matthias realizes that Seong is just a little too much?
"Stuff like that." Seong sits back up to return to toying with the hem of his shirt before softly repeating, "I just think about you a lot."
Matthias hums, hanging on every word. It's like a drug listening to all the little and big way he occupies Seong's thoughts. He absolutely shouldn't have made an itemized list. It's better off the cuff like this. While he continues, Matthias cants his head just enough to rest his cheek against Seong's hair.
Once Seong moves, Matthias goes back to finishing his plate, as if Seong hadn't shared a vulnerable moment.
"I say it right because it's important." He could just as easily say it wrong, pronounce it just like everyone else. But isn't saying it right one of the first things that helped them together? It's special, even to Matthias.
"If you want to write fiction about us, maybe you should moonlight doing that. I hear a lot of people make decent money self-publishing smutty stories and books. I'll help you come up with material."
Seong lays his head on Matthias' shoulder again. Sorry, he's anxiously fidgeting. He just gave Matthias a glimpse of what he thinks about and now he's waiting to be told it's time for him to go. He went too big, too quickly. It was a poor choice. He should have kept a better grip on his own thoughts and not let them come tumbling out of his mouth and the gentlest of urging.
But it doesn't come. What Seong's been worrying about, anxious about, what he's been bracing himself for never comes. Matthias makes no mention of it. He just moves past it. Seong relaxes against Matthias. It could still come, he could still be asked to leave, but for now, he lets himself relax.
"It is important. That's why I appreciate it." It lead them to where they are today. A mistakenly grabbed coffee order and Matthias asking Seong how his name is pronounced instead of just deciding some wrong pronunciation is the correct one. It's important. It's important to Seong and it makes Seong feel important to Matthias.
"I couldn't actually do that," he mutters quietly, though he abruptly sits up straight and turns to face Matthias. "Could I? I really do like writing about us." Are his cheeks red? It feels like his cheeks are turning red.
"If I do it and it takes off, I might need a lot of help from you for fresh material. Are you sure you're up for it?"
The fidgeting is cute. The little flashes of insecurity, delicious. But the burgeoning obsession is what really piques Matthias' interest. That he occupies so much space in Seong's life already when they haven't even been together long please him greatly.
A few more bites and he leans forward to set his plate on the coffee table. It's mostly empty now, now need to keep it near. Now he can turn all of his attention back to Seong. His sweet, anxious, fidgety Seong. His.
He didn't want to admit to it. He didn't want to admit just how much Matthias consumes his thoughts and how it gets in the way of the rest of his life. It's not quite reached the point of being absolutely detrimental yet, but it could very easily get there. Yet it's not his life he's worried about so much as Matthias leaving him. He worries that Matthias will come to realize that it's weird or creepy or something that Seong got so wrapped up in him so quickly and decide he's done. He's worried that this is doomed to fail now because of him.
Seong moves to sit sideways on the couch, turning his entire body toward Matthias. "Ten percent." He would've agreed to more.
"So you'll do it? You'll write stories about us?" Oh, he's as eager as a kid on Christmas morning. Not at all for the money, he doesn't give a shit about that. But about being Seong's muse. About knowing that Seong's going to use things they do for inspiration in his writing. Delightful!
Matthias' eagerness is going to make Seong anxious and fidgety again. But in sort of a good way this time, if that's possible. Writing about himself and his boyfriend. Immortalizing how they spend a lot of their time together. Sharing with the world some of his hottest and most intense moments with Matthias. He chews on his bottom lip and slowly nods his head. "Mhm. I'll write about us." He'd never before really settled on what sorts of things he wanted to write, he just knew that's what he wanted to do. So why not write some of his favourite subjects? Why not write about his relationship?
Matthias wiggles in delight. And, now that his plate is no longer on his lap and it's free... He tugs Seong closer, closer, closer, urging the young man to occupy that now empty space. Oh, he could simply put him there if he wants, but he's not ready to give up the illusion of being a normal human person, yet.
Once Seong settles in his lap, Matthias leans closer, bumping his forehead against Seong's. His eye s go narrow and dark, the promise of a very good time lighting his face. "I'll be sure to give you a lot of good material, beginning tonight."
It doesn't take much urging and tugging from Matthias for Seong to get what he's trying to do. With Matthias' help, Seong moves himself onto his boyfriend's lap, getting himself settled and comfortable quite easily. It feels like a seat that was made just for him. Warm and perfect.
Seong wraps his arms loosely around Matthias's neck and closes his eyes when their foreheads touch. Even such a simple touch is enough to make him feel warm inside and have to take a deep, slow breath. The way such a touch simultaneously sets his mind reeling and makes it go blank. It's such a strange sensation that only comes from Matthias.
"The more material I have to work with, the better."
"I think you should start from the beginning," he purrs quietly. "That day we bumped into each other at the coffee shop would make a good intro to our fictional alter egos' adventures, don't you think?" As if Seong needs the reminder of what day they met and where.
As Seong settles comfortably, Matthias loops his arms around his waist. Not to pull him closer, Seong can move closer if he wants to all on his own. Maybe it's to keep him from escaping. No escape now, Seong. You've been caught by a demon.
"And that trip to your parents' house for your birthday..."
The day they met plays on repeat in Seong's mind constantly. It's just a loop of the events from the very beginning to the very end. Matthias mistakenly grabbing Seong's coffee to Matthias' cum running down Seong's thighs. How could he ever forget what ended up being such a life altering event for him? The first day of the rest of his life sort of life altering. "The first day we bumped into each other sounds like the perfect start to the journey for our fictional selves. I like it."
Oh, he wants to move closer. When it becomes clear that pulling Seong closer isn't the intention behind the arms around his waist, Seong wiggles a little closer. And closer, eliminating most of the space left between them. He's sure he could stay like this forever. Sitting on Matthias' lap with the man's arms wrapped around him, so close he can feel the heat of his body. If this (along with more sex than he could ever ask for and an amazing boyfriend) is what it is to be caught by a demon, so be it!
"You know, there's places in their house where I can't go anymore without thinking of you. Well us, actually."
Seong will hear no complaints from Matthias as he wriggles closer. In fact, the movement only prompts the demon to tighten his hold. Keeping Seong close, close, closer. It's been a while since he's actually enjoyed spending time with a human like this, why not take full advantage of it.
He leans in a little closer, bumping his nose against Seong's as his brows lift. "Is that a bad thing?"
Oh but isn't this nice though? Being held so closely and so tightly by the one person who's becoming so important to him. He's not sure he remembers ever having a relationship like this, where his partner grew more important to him instead of less. He's not sure he's ever had a boyfriend whose space he wants to always be in, who he always wants to touch and be touched by. Things would start out more of less fine, but Seong would grow distant, both physically and emotionally. It's been quite the opposite with Matthias. How exciting.
Seong smiles and rubs his nose against Matthias'. "No. I like going to my parents place and being reminded of you. We do have to finish our tour of the house though..."
Naughty boy~! But Matthias loves it. He has to push to little with Seong. In fact, sometimes it's Seong who makes the suggestions first. A charming little addition that quickly propelled Seong into the coveted rank of 'favorite human.' It's making their time together very interesting and the one thing Matthias hates most is boredom. Seong has yet to bore him.
One of Seong's biggest fears is becoming boring to Matthias. It's second only to his fear of Matthias becoming boring to him. He doesn't want Matthias to ever become someone he doesn't want to be around, whose very existence exhausts him (in a bad way). He doesn't want to sigh or roll his eyes any time Matthias texts him or asks to see him. He wants to be excited about it every time it happens. He wants to look forward to hearing from Matthias and spending time with him. He doesn't want Matthias to become some person he endures just because the thought of being on his own is worse.
"Mm we really should, otherwise it's like leaving a job half finished, you know?" Seong presses his lips together and looks away from Matthias. "How cliche is it that I've kinda always wanted to fuck in my parents' room?"
It's a strange thing for Matthias, too. It isn't a chose texting Seong, planning time with Seong, spending time with Seong. There's something about him that's just comfortable. More than comfortable. Matthias finds himself eager to while away time with Seong. Perhaps that's more than comfortable.
Matthias reaches to brush his fingers along Seong's jaw, then follows up with a trail of light kisses in the same place. "I don't care how cliche it is. I want to do it."
Comfortable is a good word for it. He feels comfortable around Matthias. He doesn't feel anxious or annoyed when he talks to Matthias or when they spend time together. He doesn't feel like it's something he has to do, but wants to do. It's nice. It's comfortable. It's lead him to the realization that not talking to or seeing Matthias makes him uncomfortable. Imagine that.
Seong tips his head away from Matthias, exposing more of his jaw to his boyfriend and his boyfriend's attention. "It could be a little trickier than other places in the house," he breathes out as his eyes fall closed. "They won't leave the house while we're there and it's their room so..."
"We'll have to be quick about it," he breathes out. Each word is punctuaed by a soft kiss making a path toward Seong's ear. "I think we're up for the task," he whispers directly against it.
Then he pulls back enough to give Seong a comically serious look. "We're not quitters!" Followed almost immediately by a fresh invasion of Seong's space and a very greedy kiss.
"I don't really like having to be quick about it," he starts, his voice getting more and more breathy with each passing word, with every additional kiss. "But since it's for a good cause..." Oh but the way he involuntarily shivers when Matthias whispers directly in his ear. There's even a soft gasp that follows. "Can we make up the time elsewhere though? Maybe starting now."
And then in what feels like a very sudden, unexpected move, Matthias pulls back a bit and it's like Seong can think a little more clearly again. Very little more. It's like one clear thought in ten manages to weasel it's way through the fog. Before the statement really even registers, Seong is shaking his head in agreement. "No. We're not quitters!" They have their own personal mission to see through to the end. "Not until we-" The last of Seong's words get lost in Matthias' mouth, in that very greedy kiss. The one that's returned just as greedily. It's okay. Matthias already knows where Seong was going with that sentiment.
