Soft sounds of effort accompany the shuffling limp. He stops once they're just outside of the bookshop, looking up the street and down. The way he came from and the way he was running. The way he came from is actually the quickest, most direct way for him to get home. He turns his back on that direction, gesturing up the street. "Let's go this way." Even with Atreyun by his side, he doesn't feel good about the other direction right now. He doesn't like the idea of walking in the direction where he last saw his attackers.
