Of course he does. He hasn't had the experience of knowing you for more than a minute.
If you really do believe so differently than him, maybe it's for the best that you remove me from your life entirely.
I wouldn't want to bore you.
I wouldn't want to bore you.
A little dragon does have another form of defence! He has pointy little teeth and razor sharp claws. Both are small like the dragon so they are little more than an annoyance to something bigger (though hopefully annoyance enough to make the bigger predator think the little dragon simply isn't worth the time), but they could be quite harmful to a small bunny. Not fatal without some effort on the part of the little dragon, but dangerous even still.
"Don't just eat everything you see." Fraise angrily flicks the berry-shaped end of his tail before tucking it under his chin.
"I'm the protector of this garden!"

A frown pulls his features down when Akihito instantly rises from where he’s been placed to rest. Atreyun’s dismay is short lived, replaced by some level of surprise and awe when the room is bathed instantly and fully in light. He physically jolts, blinking around the room to find the light sources that lit like magic. (Is electricity not magic to someone who knows no such thing?) A few seconds pass before Atreyun takes in the whole of the room. As expected, it’s very unlike what he knows. The homes of people thousands of years ago are alien in comparison to this.
Without a word more, he follows Akihito to another room (partitioned rooms! What a novelty!). Once more he jerks his head up when the lights come on. He’s much quicker this time to look at his surroundings. Very foreign to him, indeed. But the way he audibly gasps when Akihito turns the tap and the water pours forth. But the basin it spills into is fixed and not large enough to get a pail under…
“How do you use this to bathe?”

I’ll see you there.
Of course he Googled the address to see what kind of place his brother wants to meet at. The secondary purpose? To see a menu, of course! He likes to be prepared, to at least have some idea of the fare before setting a toe in a place. It feels like a waste of time to pour over a menu when one could have done so ahead of time. Time is money. And, well, he doesn’t want to be rude to his own brother by spending the finite time they’ll have reading a menu. Who knows when one of them will fall prey to some mercurial mood and call their lunch over.
Jake keeps it as casual as he ever is in a simply pair of dark grey trousers and a black button down. He’s early by about five minutes, glancing in the window for any sign of Nate before positioning himself near the door to watch for his approach.

Don't misunderstand! All I'm saying is he's YOUNG. His sense of what's fun and what isn't hasn't yet had the chance to mature. Everything new and exciting is fun when you're young!
Ah, I knew YOU would understand! I'm simply not built for carrying regrets! I can't allow myself the chance to nurture them!
Don't misunderstand! I know what you meant but I'm simply looking for any reason for you to leave me alone.
Very rude of you to say. However, you know that's not going to happen. It COULD if you make an introduction.
No promises.
No promises.
He has nothing to do with you. There's no reason for an introduction to be made.
[ and he already knows (well, is relatively certain) that peter wouldn't leave him alone just because he finally introduced him to kun-woo. besides, he's not enough of a monster to throw kun-woo to the wolves to save himself ]

Is it because he's my replacement?
OH!!! Are you in love with him?!?!
OH!!! Are you in love with him?!?!
Sorry Atreyun, but there are some things that are easier to show than explain. Which means he has to get up so he can show them. Besides, he can make his way around his apartment well enough. Oh, everything is still horribly painful (a little more so, even, since he hasn't really moved much since leaving the book store) but he can get around well enough. It's not like his apartment is too big that he has to do a lot of walking to get from one place to another.
"That one isn't for bathing." Akihito shuts the water off and moves to the opposite side of the bathroom where the bathtub sits against the wall. He sits on the edge of it (he can get around, but standing and walking are both incredibly exhausting) before leaning down to put the stopper in the drain. "I have a bathtub for bathing. It has the same taps at the sink does," he explains, pointing to the silver fixtures on the tub that match those on the sink.

How do you mean?
He's petite. Dark-haired. Bubbly, social disposition. Cute. Definitely a replacement for me.

He's hardly a replacement for you but believe as you wish.
Now that that's settled, be a dear and lose this number so I don't have to change it again so soon.
I could never!

If you ever cared for me, you can.
If you ever cared for me, you can.
How very unkind of you to try to use my fondness for you in such a way. I will not be emotionally blackmailed just because I'm tender-hearted and sensitive!
